Wow... it has been close to half a year since we last posted. How have you all been? :)

We have been busy with Kiren's little brother Dmitri, and for myself, I was involved in another project which leaves me very little time to man this blogshop.

However, I have been working behind the scene for both new and regular customers, and some highlights and stories included...

- Urgent delivery of a Mack Truck within the same day for a Birthday boy.
- A father coming all the way to my place by cab on a rainy night to collect some Cars to cheer up his sick boy .
- Completed not one but 2 sets of Tunerz (DJ, Wingo, Boost & Snotrod) for 2 regular customers
- Regular Mommy customer sharing a picture with me via SMS of her son receiving the elusive Rip Clutchgoneski
- completing and relaying Cars to an appreciative Malaysian Mom
- and many other requests for the Older CARS 1 Models (Sheriff, King, Chick Hicks, Flo, Sally, etc) which I can get Loose or in Box format.

Thanks for the support during the past few months. Rolling-out with some amazing haulers including Mack and Pre-Orders of CARS 1 characters.

Welcome to my new home! :)

Past few days I had been frantically transfering all the pictures from Flikr to this new Blogshop. I didn't know putting things up for sale on Flikr was not allowed and received a nicely-worded warning letter...haha...

It was never my intention to set up a blogshop initially, for I am doing this more so for fun and my interest. But I am really encouraged by the support I received, which makes every trip to do delivery personally worthwhile. Something totally different from the usual way of internet transactions like meet up at MRT stations, at my house or *gasp* by Singpost. I am a traditionalist in service :)

My supportive wife (canopyhaze) has been asking me if it is too costly with the Free Delivery in terms of cost for petrol, ERP and sometimes parking? I still can remember my first delivery to Jurong West, and saw the two kids eyes lit up! That really inspired me. As parents, nothing beats the feeling of seeing your kids (or other kids) happy!

Some of you are amazed by the speed I deliver and wonder if I do work. Well, I am a freelancer on project basis doing Events, and very blessed with time which allows me time for Kiren, my son. He is my inspiration for Disney Cars :)

I will be using this blogshop to showcase the Cars that I bring in. Yes, it is still very difficult to find them. I will also organise pre-orders, I have just done one last week, and should be doing one middle of April. Just let me know what you need, and to help you, the links on the right can tell you the name of the character, or model. No promises, I will do my very best to source for you. Recently, a lady customer asked for Colour Changers, and I managed to get them :)

I still don't bring in alot as this project is still in infacy stage, and I am learning the ropes. So do bear with me if something goes OOS (Out of Stock - a prefix I learnt whilst doing this.) 
Ok I am pretty new in this blogshop business. I appreciate your feedback and comments on how I can be of better service to you. I am keeping this website as 'clean' as possible, which means no advertisements like Adsense or Google words :)

FAQs - A compilation of questions that I get asked by our customers when I meet them in-person when delivering the toys :) - updated 22nd May 2013

1. Where do you get/find the Toys? I can't get them in Singapore!
All over the World - US, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Australia, UK. They are usually from Toy Shops and from other fellow collectors.

2. Do you do this full time?
No. I am Self-Employed and do have a bit of flexible schedule on weekdays. But the amount of time, heart and energy into Kiren Toys is definitely more than full-time :)

3. Who is Kiren?
Kiren is my 3 year old son, and from buying loads of toys for him overseas (plus the time), I offer my services to other parents.

4. Why don't you use Singpost and choose to deliver yourself?
I had bad experiences with them for my own shopping, and my wish is for my customers is to receive their valuable shopping safely and efficiently.

5. Why are the prices of the Disney Cars different?
Disney Diecast Cars especially Cars 1 and Cars Toons are closed to extinct. Cars 2 has got many missing characters and are very hard to find. There are different market value for each character car based on how rare they are. My job is to liberate collectors' cars so that they can be played by kids, just like how toys should be. Lol.

6. How many Cars do you have?
About 285 pieces (and growing).

7. Can I Pre-Order a particular Disney Car?
I can actually advise if a certain car is somehow available. Stocks are highly unpredictable, and that's why I cannot promise if I can't get them. There are like more than 400 charaters/versions.

8. Is your wife from SMH?
Yes. Dec 09 Mom and Jan 13 Mom. Her nick is canopyhaze.

9. Are they original?
Kiren Toys only deal with original products. We have a deep respect for IP, and over the months developed an eye to know which products are original and which aren't. Just to share that even toys in package can be fakes :) If the price is too good to be true, something is amiss.

10. Can I self pick-up?
Yes, but our place has got no MRT stations nearby, and is 15 mins walk from the nearest bus-stop. Best to come by car. We are next to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

11. Who are your customers?
Mostly parents like us who love to buy toys for their kids :) Many are repeat, mid to high-end customers who can see the value and appreciate what we do.

12. Do you have LEGO?
Erm... Kiren's Dad is not a big fan of Lego (more because he is a right brain type). But hey, you can get Lego almost everywhere :)

7. No. of Mommy customers so far : 126 (many are repeat customers)

9. Most number of pieces sold to a single customer : 58 Cars
10. No. of Cars lost in transit : 1 parcel with 28 Cars (somewhere in the US and I hope it reaches some lucky boy).
11. Places some of the Toys went to : USA, France, Philipines, Malaysia and Indonesia
